Jake Ball added to England’s squad as a cover for Liam Plunkett in the T20I tri-series

Liam Plunkett injured himself in the third ODI against Australia in Sydney. Jake Ball has been included in the squad for  the tri-series between England, Australia and New Zealand as Plunkett has not completely recovered.

Plunkett would not be available for the warm up game against the Prime Minister’s XI on Friday. Along with him, Alex Hales may also miss the game as he has injured his hand. Chris Jordan  who is also suffering from hamstring issue may be doubtful as well.

However, all the players are expected to recover by February 7 for the first T20I in Hobart.
