West Indies middle-order and hard-hitting batsman and former skipper, Darren Sammy on Saturday congratulated his fellow teammate, Jason Holder for earning the captaincy for the West Indies ODI team.

He expressed his congratulations through an Instagram photo message that said, “Congrats @jaseholder98 on being named captain of W.I ODI Team. Go well my brother and Gods blessings be upon you. #wiAllin”

Earlier, it was reported that Dwayne Bravo was being dropped as the ODI skipper following his involvement in the recent dispute between the players, WICB and WIPA over payment and he led to the withdrawal of the team from an ongoing tour of India last month.
