Jasprit Bumrah is one of the strongest support system for the Indian cricket team. Bumrah has played a significant role in India’s campaign in world cricket. Not being fazed by the conditions or the format, Bumrah has always contributed in India’s victories.
The first Test against Bangladesh was a major example as to why Bumrah is not affected by conditions. The pitch was not in the offering state for the pacers in first few overs, but Bumrah was still posing a threat to Bangladesh as he took four wickets.
During the second innings, Bumrah took wicket of Zakir Hasan and helped India in getting a much needed breakthrough. This specific wicket helped Bumrah become the first bowler in the world to take 47 international wickets in 2024. Bumrah now sits at the top of the charts in 14 matches across formats in 2024.
