Embattled New Zealand veteran Jesse Ryder has slammed the latest reports of him drinking into the early hours of Thursday just hours before the first Test against India, saying that most of the things are ”bollocks”.
Ryder’s seven-year relationship with long-term manager Aaron Klee came to an end hours before New Zealand Cricket (NZC) revealed that Ryder and teammate Doug Bracewell were under investigation for his late-night drinking in a bar in Auckland.
However, Stuff.co.nz reports that Ryder insisted that he does not need to make any statement as most of the ”allegations” against him are ”bollocks”, although he thinks that no one really believes the things that are being said against him.
The report mentioned that Ryder’s separation from Klee, a close friend as well as his manager, means that the player is now without two of his main supporters as he is also understood to be no longer working with clinical psychologist Karen Nimmo since moving to Dunedin.

Both Klee and Nimmo accompanied Ryder to the Indian Premier League (IPL) and helped guide him back to top-level cricket, the report added.
