Sharma, who was member of the victorious Twenty20 World Cup squad in 2007, was on Thursday seriously injured when his car rammed into a BPO vehicle in Dwarka in south-west Delhi.

Sharma s brother, Ashwini Sharma was quoted in rediff.com as saying,” He was operated upon by Dr Sonal Gupta. He is recovering and stable. If all goes well, he will be shifted to the general room by the afternoon.
