England have been dealt a blow in the form of injury to in-form wicketkeeper Jos Buttler and have called in Jonny Bairstow to fill in. However, it is still not clear if Buttler’s chances of participation in the fifth and deciding One-Day International (ODI) against New Zealand are completely ruled out. Buttler has scored 183 runs in the three innings he has faced in the series, including a match-defining hundred in the first game. If he misses out, he’ll be extremely gutted since it has been an absolutely enthralling series.
