Kane Williamson brought up his 10th Test century and Ross Taylor scores yet another half-century for New Zealand against England on Day Three of the First Test at Lord’s. Williamson and Taylor came into bat on Day Two when New Zealand had lost both the openers in quick succession, New Zealand will now look to wipe out the deficit as soon as possible and would want to set England a huge lead. He and Kane Williamson have stitched an excellent partnership for the third wicket and if England do not break this partnership early they will be forced to chase down a lot of runs. Earlier on Day One, New Zealand had won the toss and elected to bowl first. England would have been happy to have recovered after they were reduced to 30 for four.
