New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson is reportedly working hard on his bowling action following the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) verdict on his bowling action being illegal.

According to a report in 3news.co.nz, Williamson said, “Rushing it I don’t think helps. It’s not something at the forefront of my mind but obviously I’d like to be bowling again so you can contribute to the team with the ball. Hard to know really how much progress is made without getting tested but it certainly feels and looks a bit different to what it used to so still a lot of work to do but hopefully I’m taking the right steps forward.”

Williamson is one of New Zealand’s mainstays with the bat and has been known to contribute with the ball as well, an aspect the Kiwis will be hoping he can get back to very soon.
