Where Chennai made a comeback in the Indian T20 league in a dramatic fashion with 1 wicket win over Mumbai, Rajasthan were no where closer to that. They dished out the most unromantic tale with no batting efforts, sloppy fielding and erratic bowling. Barring Ajinkya Rahane, Sanju Samson, Rahul Tripathi and Shreyas Gopal, none could get to the double digit score. The absence of calm yet fiery captain and batsman Steven Smith hurt Rajasthan terribly. For Hyderabad, it was a comprehensive win despite the absence David Warner.
After the bowlers restricted Rajasthan to a sub-par total, Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson made the run-chase look like a cake walk with timely strokes. Here is how the players from both teams have fared after their first match in Indian T20 league:

Can see the stark difference on what went wrong for Rajasthan. Dhawan and Williamson looked in full mood to play the party spoilers for Rajasthan and did that with much ease.
