Hanuma Vihari, who made his Test debut in the final Test against England earlier this month, and Mumbai’s Prithvi Shaw, who was part of the squad, will play against the Windies with Mayank Agarwal and Shreyas Iyer and Maharastra’s Ankit Bawne also included in the squad.
Jharkhand’s Ishan Kishan has been named as the wicketkeeper while Kerala’s Jalaj Saxena picked as the sole allrounder.
The pace battery includes Kerala’s Basil Thampi, Madhya Pradesh’s Avesh Khan, Bengal and U-19 star Ishan Porel and Tamil Nadu’s Kirshnamoorthy Vignesh while UP’s Saurabh Kumar added as the second spinner.
It is a maiden India A call-ups for both Saurabh and Vignesh who had impressed in the 2018-19 Duleep Trophy. Off spinner Saurabh led India Blue to victory claiming 20 wickets in just three matches while medim pacer Vignesh had claimed eight wickets in two matches.
