England cricketer Eoin Morgan has revealed that star cricketer Kevin Pietersen is not a banned topic of conversation in the dressing room.

When asked if Pietersen’s topic would be avoided in the dressing room during the upcoming T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka, Morgan replied, “No. It’s not like Voldemort. It’s all right.”

Pietersen last played for England in the second Test against South Africa after which he was dropped from the team following a text-message row.

Earlier, Former England captain Andrew Strauss said the Pietersen saga in his last series as a skipper was a sad episode and hoped it serves as an important lesson for many people involved in England cricket management.

He said, “It’s not a topic that I’m all that comfortable talking about at the moment, partly because there’s a lot still going on, and I think it’s unhelpful for me to say anything that might be put in headlines and might influence people in any way.

“All I will say that it was a sad episode to go through in that week before the final Test, and I hope everyone has learnt some important lessons.”

Morgan further added that the recent performance of England cricketer Jos Buttler excites him and feels that the latter is an exciting prospect.

He was quoted by Daily Mail as saying, “It was absolutely brilliant. It gives everyone else belief that he can perform at any given time.

“I’ve been watching Jos train for nearly a year now, and he’s phenomenal.

“The guy is brilliant – and we’ve all been waiting for this to evolve.
