South African all-rounder of Dolphins, Khaya Zondo, who was charged with suspect bowling action, was on Saturday cleared of his bowling action after a series of Tests and assesment in an ICC-accredited centre in Pretoria. He was earlier reported for a suspect action during the Ram Slam T20 Challenge 2015, semi-final clash between Dolphins and Cape Cobras on December 9 at Durban, and was asked to undergo an independent assessment test for his bowling action according to the rules and regulation of Cricket South Africa (CSA). He was assesed on December 17, and was later cleared of his cg=harges, as it was assesed that his action was legal owing to the 15-degree limit, as permitted by the ICC, reports espncricinfo.

Zondo has so far played 35 First-Class games and has claimed the best figure of 6 for 52, with an average of 34.11, and also has 12 wickets in 64 T20s.
