The highlight of Kolkata Knight Riders’ intense four-run victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their IPL encounter on Saturday at Eden Gardens was Andre Russell’s all-around performance. KKR reached 208 for seven thanks to Phil Salt’s more practical 54 from 40 balls and Russell’s vicious unbeaten 64 off 25 balls with three fours and seven sixes. Their most effective bowler was left-arm pacer T Natarajan, who took three wickets (3/32). SRH made many attempts to take down 208, especially in the latter half of the innings when Heinrich Klaasen (63, 29b, 8x6s) went off. However, Harshit Rana’s 12 run save in the last over sealed the deal for Kolkata.

He not only saved runs in the last over but he was also the most successful bowler for KKR, he bagged 3 crucial wickets and put KKR into the drivers seat.
