KL Rahul played brilliantly for Delhi Capitals (DC) as he made another match-winning knock of a half-century against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 22 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
As the team was chasing a total of 160, Rahul came out to bat at number 3 as Karin Nair got dismissed. The 33-year-old stitched up a 79-run partnership with Abhishek Porel to make way for the team towards their target. Later he made a 56-run partnership with Axar Patel as DC won the match by 8 wickets, securing their 6th win in 8 matches.
KL Rahul scored his third half-century of the season as he played a knock of 57 off 42 balls, and throughout his time on the crease, he secured an epic milestone of completing 5000 runs in IPL career. Th Indian star reached the milestone in just his 130th innings in the tournament, marking the fastest player to reach this feat.
