F1 Rocks are set to host two nights of their F1 Rocks The Afterparty during the weekend of the inaugural 2011 Formula 1 Grand Prix of India, which will take place in Delhi from October 28-30. Cricketers as well as Bollywood stars are eagerly waiting for what promises to be a star-studded party.
These additional festivities will enhance what already promises to be a fantastic weekend of entertainment on and off the track, with multi-award winning USA heavy metal band Metallica headlining the F1 Rocks in India event on the Friday night.
The first party will get underway on the Friday night at the Crowne Plaza and feature renowned electronic house DJ Seb Fontaine and the ever-popular Cuban Brothers.
The second Afterparty will be held at Durbar Hall on the Sunday evening. Eighties legend Boy George and Virgin reserve driver Sakon Yamamoto are both expected to take a turn on the decks.
India batsman Virat kohli said: “It’s gonna be a huge concert.”
While, former West Indies captain Chris Gayle said: “I am going crazy about.”
Formula 1 driver Karun Chandhok said: “F1 parties are very good and India should be no different. I am looking forward to it.”
