A combination of good bowling from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and terrible batting from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) ensured that KKR were reduced to 111 for five at the end of the 15th over. Robin Uthappa, Gautam Gambhir, and Manish Pandey all got dismissed in their 30s, while Andre Russell and Ryan ten Doeschate were dismissed for single-digit scores. Live Updates: KKR vs SRH, IPL 2015, Match 38

Earlier, the SRH spinners pegged KKR back as the hosts lost some quick wickets. After six overs KKR were 55 for no loss, but thanks to some tight spin bowling by the duo of Karn Sharma and Bipul Sharma, KKR were 86 for three by the 12th over. David Warner won the crucial toss and elected to chase on a pitch which looked quite dry. The visitors made two changes in the playing eleven from the last game, as Bipul Sharma came in for Ashish Reddy and Dale Steyn replaced Trent Boult. For KKR, Johan Botha replaced Pat Cummins.
