Indian team manager Shivlal Yadav has opined that India team is struggling due to lack of genuine fast bowlers.

Yadav was quoted in Indian Express as saying, “We don’t have express bowlers where we are getting a good start like we had got in Durham, we got a couple of quick wickets and the pressure was on England.

“So, we are neither getting that kind of a start neither in Twenty-20 nor in previous game. So, once we get going, once our new bowlers strike, I am sure we will be able to put England under pressure,” said Yadav.

Former test off spinner also felt that the Indian team will badly miss injured Sachin Tendulkar, who is out of action due to foot injury.

He said, “Well, obviously any team would be missing the services of a great cricketer like Sachin, and definitely, we miss him and, regarding the injuries, it is not in our hands. If somebody gets injured, he gets injured. So, I think this tour has been the maximum amount of injuries I have seen as a selector. When I was a selector I had never seen nine cricketers going back,”
