Lalit Modi’s lawyer adresses press conference

Lalit Modi's lawyer on Monday night addressed a press conference regarding the issue with Sushma Swaraj.

Former IPL commisioner, Lalit Modi‘s lawyer on Monday night addressed a press conference regarding the issue with Sushma Swaraj, minister for external affairs for India, helping him. She has been facing lot of criticism as the case suggests the government helped a person who is wanted in the country for the alleged role in the foreign exchange regulation violations in 2009. Prior to the press conference, his lawyer stated, “Now finally its my turn to get everything out. Be ready to absorb what has transpired from March 2010 to date. There will be timeliness shared, who did what, when, why. It will be full exposed with facts, hard data. No hearsay. Congress Party should be watching this press conference.”

As soon as the conference began, his lawyer started giving a clean chit against Modi saying, “Some of the channels who are airing this story must know that Lalit Modi is an offender and fugitive! “Modi’s wife has been suffering from cancer for the last six years, and the UK legislative authority has allowed Modi to stay in UK to take care of his wife,” he added.

“A blue-corner notice was issued by the interpol regarding the whereabouts of Modi. However, in 2013 interpol issued a letter syaing there is no blu notice against him and his records don;t exist in the files of interpol in India,” he added again.
