The prayers and wishes of millions of Yuvraj Singh fans across the world have just started to come true, as the ailing cricketer is recovering from the dreadful disease of lung cancer.
The southpaw tweeted earlier this morning, “Got very good news from dr lawrence today! The tumor is almost way out of the system Aftr reading my todays scan !Second cycle has started”, which only means good news.
Yuvraj, who is undergoing chemotherapy in the United States had posted a hairless picture of him on Twitter, earlier this month. Another picture shared on a Facebook page showed a happy and cheerful Yuvraj Singh, who was spotted wearing a yellow t-shirt with a smile on his face.
The left-hander was diagnosed with a malignant tumor, which saddened the cricket-crazy nation. However, Yuvraj’s attitude on the cricketing field is helping him overcome his battle with his illness too.
Yuvraj has been reading the autobiography of the inspiring Lance Armstrong and was elated to receive get well soon wishes from the Tour-de-France champion.
