Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of  Day 2 the Ranji Trophy 2015-16 Group A match between Assam and Delhi. Winning the toss Assam elected to field first against table toppers Delhi. Day belonged to the pace bowlers in general at Guhawati with a total of 13 wickets falling through the course of the day. Assam’s Krishna Das was on fire removing three Delhi top order batsmen for just 6 runs on the board. Delhi captain Gautam Gambhir also followed soon making Delhi looking down the drain at 8 for 4 in just 8 overs. Milind Kumar(45) and Manan Sharma(46*) some how managed to get Delhi across 100. Delhi were bowled out for 149 in 59.4 overs. Assam in response did not have a perfect start themselves. Assam on stumps on Day 1 are 69 for 3 trailing Delhi by 80 runs. Krishna Das was the stand out bowler in the match picking up 4/38 was well supported by Arup Das who picked up 3 for 49. Delhi’s Unmukt Chand went for a first ball-duck. Assam in their innings started slowly but then got reduced to 36/3 after Pradeep Sangwan scalped 2 in his 4 overs .Gokul Sharma(22*) and KB Arun Karthick(19*) are on the crease for Assam at stumps.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE Delhi 101 for 4 in Overs 44 : Two quick wickets at the stroke of stumps have pegged Delhi back. Assam have gained the upper hand on Day 2 of this Group A Ranji Trophy fixture.
