Bangladesh and Sri Lanka face-off in a two-match Test series starting on January 27, 2014 at Mirpur. This is Sri Lanka’s 2014 tour of Bangladesh where they will play two Tests, two Twenty20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals.
Sri Lanka have won the toss and elected to bowl first at the Shere Bangla National Stadium.
Mushfiqur Rahim will lead Bangladesh. Batsman Shamsur Rehman will make his Test debut for Bangladesh.
Angelo Mathews captains Sri Lanka. All-rounder Dilruwan Perera will play in place of Ajantha Mendis and partner Rangana Herath in the spin department. Shaminda Eranga and Suranga Lakmal will be the frontline bowlers for Sri Lanka.
