In their last match, Barisal Bulls played brilliantly as they went in to bat first and put up a total of 170 for the Chittagong Vikings to chase. Skipper Mahmudullah scored a much needed 51 coming out to bat at 5 and Sekugge Prasanna supported well with his 36 runs which had four sixes in it. Chasing the total, the Vikings failed miserably as none of the batsmen could score 50. Only Naeem Islam played a mentionable knock of 38 runs while the Vikings lost to the Bulls by 33 runs.

On the other hand, Dhaka Dynamites are also brimming with confidence as they are also coming from a win against the Sylhet Super Stars. Batting first, they set a target of 166 for the Super Stars to chase. Skipper Kumar Sangakkara looked unstoppable as he scored a magnificent 75 off 55 balls that had nine fours in it. Nasir Hossain also scored a good 33 to boost the scoreboard with yet more runs. Sylhet Super Stars, while chasing it, looked helpless and lost back to back wickets. Nurul Hasan remained unbeaten at 35 but couldn’t save his side from a defeat by 34 runs.
