Madhya Pradesh will take lot of positives from this game. The win has come away from their home in Vadoadara. It has come against a strong Baroda side, which had the likes of Yusuf Pathan, Ambati Rayudu and Deepak Hooda. And lastly, they’ve found a new hero in Mihir Hirwani. Baroda on the other hand will have plenty to think about before their next match commences. That’s all from here. Ciao!

Yusuf Pathan has scored a valiant half-century and is still unbeaten on 60. He has hit 10 boundaries in his innings so far and helped Baroda recover from a precarious situation of 5 fo 31. Swapnil Singh is also playing a handy knock and is unbeaten on 35. The two are moving towards their hundred run partnership. Singh has hit four boundaries and one six in his innings, which has been a fine blend of caution and aggression. After getting early wickets, Madhya Pradesh bowlers have failed to do any further damage. They must look at bringing Puneet Datey, who has taken four wickets so far, back into the attack.

Live cricket scores Baroda 80/5 & 296 | Madhya Pradesh 288/6 Dec & 269 |  Overs 26 | Batting: Y Pathan 34(50), SK Singh 15(33): Baroda have managed to get to tea without losing any further wicket after their captain’s fall. Yusuf Pathan and Swapnil Singh are at the crease right now. With 182 more runs to win from a session, Baroda aren’t placed well at the moment. Pathan could’ve gone for the chase had he got wickets of his partners intact. Madhya Pradesh on the other hand would be smelling a victory here. They’d want their bowlers to break this partnership as early as possible and then go for the kill once the tail is exposed.
