Hello and Welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the 2015-16 Big Bash League (BBL) match between Perth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers at the WACA Stadium in Perth on Monday, as we bring you the live updates from the game. Perth, who have been the champions of the tournament a couple of times are the most sucessful team in the competition with the same amount of titles as the most, as they look to make it three when the open their 2015-16 campaign against Adelaide, who won their opening game against Melbourne Stars on Friday and would aim to get off to a winning start.

Live Cricket Score Adelaide Strikers 152/6 in 19.1 overs | Batting:  Michael Neser 1(2), Adil Rashid 2(2): Perth Scorchers never had adequate runs on the board but their bowlers fought hard. Their bowlers did very well but a couple of bad overs spoiled it for them. Jayawardene played a key innings for the Strikers scoring 42. Alex Ross’s 29-ball 38 can’t be overlooked either. OUT! Carberry did not looked settled through the course of the match and was finally foxed when he attempted to break lose. Mitchell Marsh is the new batsman in. They have latched onto to the odd bad ball but not taken unnecessary risks as yet. Strikers will want to make a breakthrough soon or else these two will accelerate.

They had a nervy moment with one bouncy ball taking his edge towards first slip but fell just short, there were two amazing cover drives in the first over though.

Perth Scorchers, who have been the most successful side in the tournament so far, are one of the star studded sides, with the likes of Shaun Marsh, Adam Voges, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Brad Hogg, Mitchell Marsh and many more, who can indeed pose great threat for the opponent team. However, Strikers too won’t back out easily, especially, following a convincing win over Stars last Friday. Thus, the tie promises to be  thriller.
