Hello and Welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the 2015-16 Big Bash League (BBL) match between Sydney Sixers and Hobart Hurricanes at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Sunday, as we bring you the live updates from this game. Sixers, who were the champions of the inaugural, are on a mission to make it double as they look to earn their opening win of the season. Hobart, on the other hand, who have been a strong side, have failed to win the tournament, although they have made it to the knock-outs previously, as thye look to turn things around this season.

Sixers, who lost their opening game to their cross-town rivals, Sydney Thunders in the opening tie of the season, would look for a turnaround and win this tie against the Hurricanes in their home ground, and being a strong side, they can certainly do it. Hobart, on the other hand, who would be playing their opening game of the seaoson in an away tie to the sixers would aim for a winning start to their campaign, as thye consist of players like Tim Paine, Kumar Sangakkara, George Bailey, Darren Sammy, Shaun Tait and many more, who can well turn the game in favour of their side.
