TOSS: Adelaide Strikers (Bat)

The thinders won their previous game convincingly to the Melbourne Stars in an away tie at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), thus boosting their net run-rate by a good margin, and going atop the table. Strikers, on the other hand, too had a good outing in the previous game against Perth Scorchers, as they convincingly win the game by seven wickets. With two unbeaten teams clashing together, it is expeccted to be a big tie and surely one of the teams are to suffer their opening defeat of the season.
