LIVE CRICKET SCORE Baroda 154/7 in Overs 62; BATTING: Hardik Pandya 10(12), Swapnil Singh 4(6): Baroda have been struggling for the most part in their innings so far, and they have only exacerbated their situation in the first session of the day so far. Resuming from their overnight score of 81 for 4, Yusuf Pathan is dismissed in no time at all following the start of the day’s play, getting caught by Parthiv Patel off the bowling of Jasprit Bumrah. His brother Irfan adds 41 for the sixth wicket before departing for a score of 15. Ambati Rayudu is the next to be dismissed, falling just seven short of his half-century as Baroda are reduced to 145 for 7, making Gujarat firm favourites to finish with an innings win at the moment, unless Hardik Pandya can rally with Swapnil Singh, and produce a magical partnership that might save them on the final day. OUT! Yusuf Pathan c Parthiv Patel b Jasprit Bumrah 8(28), Irfan Pathan c Smit Patel b Rujul Bhatt 15(59), Ambati Rayudu c Akshar Patel b Rujul Bhatt 43(93)
Baroda skipper Ambati Rayudu made 47, while Irfan Pathan top-scored with 58. Hardik Pandya made 33, Abhimanyu Chauhan scored 31, and Aditya Waghmode hit 38, but it was not enough for Baroda to avoid the follow on. Akshar was again in the wickets in the second innings, taking 2 for 19, while Kalaria and Bhatt took one wicket each. Kedar Devdhar was the highest scorer for Baroda with 35, but no one else even got to two figures barring Chauhan. An innings defeat looms large over Baroda.
