Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of Day 2 of the Group A game of the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy between Haryana and Assam, live from CH Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium, Lahli, Rohtak, Haryana. Yesterday, Haryana won the toss and decided to bat first but their decision proved wrong as they were reduced to 140 for seven by stumps on Day one. First day belonged to Assam totally. Assam bowlers Krishna Das and Dhiraj Goswami bagged four and three wickets respectively. Krishna Das was also very economical and gave just 2.10 runs per over on an average. HJ Rana was the highest scorer for Haryana with 56 runs. At stumps on Day 1, Haryana’s middle-order batsman RP Sharma and HV Patel were at the crease. Sharma was batting on 56 while HV Patel had scored six runs. Today, Patel’s chief job should be to give Sharma maximum strike and let him do the scoring. LIVE CRICKET SCORE HAR 15 for 3 in Overs 13: And it’s stumps at Rohtak. Arup das takes another wickets and sends off Jayant Yadav. Meanwhile, RP Sharma also surrendered for lbw to Krishna Das. Himanshu Rana and Nitin Saini are in the crease. At the end of day 2, Haryana are leading by 63 runs.

Rahul Hazarika has topped scored with 23 runs. Going into lunch Assam have Amit Verma(8) and K B Arun Karthick(3) on the crease. Assam trail Haryana by 117 runs.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE HAR 168 for 10 in Overs 70 : Haryana were bowled out for 168 after starting the day at 140 for 7. Rohit Sharma who was batting well got out for 45. Mohit Sharma and Ashish Hooda were cleaned up in a matter of 1 run. Krishna Das was the stand out bowler for Assam picking up 6 wickets each along with Dhiraj Goswami taking 4 wickets.
