Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket blog for the second day’s play of the Ranji Trophy 2015-16 between Himachal Pradesh and Services at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) at Dharamsala .Himachal Pradesh reached a commanding position on Day One reaching 352 for 4, with Paras Dogra unbeaten on 174. He is well supported by Nikhil Gangta at the other end who is seven short of reaching a ton. Dogra has been in excellent form and has carried on his good run of form into this match as well. Diwesh Pathania has been in excellent form with the ball this season and is continuing it in this match, picking up three wickets. Himachal Pradesh will want to get a score in excess of 500 and will want to put Services under a lot of pressure. Services have done reasonably well in this season and as a result are placed at the second position behind Saurashtra in the Group C table. Hence they will not go down without a fight i this match. Services will look to pick u a few wickets and ensure that they cut the run flow to a certain extent. They have the capability to do so and will be looking to do just that.
