In the second fixture of the day in the ICC World T20 2014, Hong Kong and Nepal face each other in the battle of the minnows in the Group A encounter.
Nepal should fancy themselves as favourites this World T20 match because of their energetic approach and talent, which has to be taken seriously in the future compared to the some of the part timers of Hong Kong.
Hong Kong, on the other hand have done well to get to this stage of the competition and have a good team spirit, if they have to emerge victorious.
Their captain Jamie Atkinson, who is also the keeper, will have a lot riding on their only realistic chance of getting something out of this tournament. Mark Chapman’s recent run of form is pleasing and will be one of the one of the players to watch out for.
Nepal’s passion for the game can even put Nepal to game. Led by Paras Khadka, one of the most popular figures in the country, Nepal is expected to have a huge turnout by their fantastic fans, who were a revelation during the qualifiers.
Spinner Basant Regmi sits pretty on the top of the wicket-taking pile for Nepal and will be their trump card in this encounter.
