Good evening! Hello and welcome to CricketCoutry’s live coverage of Desert T20 Challenge 2017. This is match No. 10 of the tournament between Netherlands and Hong Kong. The match is scheduled to be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Netherlands are the favourites to win the match as they have won one of the two matches they have played. Hong Kong are yet to bag any victory in the tournament and are virtually out of contest. This will be a crucial match for Netherlands to stay alive in the contest but their qualification to semi-final will depend on the result of Oman’s encounter with Scotland on Thursday.

Netherlands started with a victory in the first match against Oman but are coming off a defeat to Scotland in their previous match. Scotland are leading the table of Group B with two victories in two matches that they have played so far. They put up a below par 148 in the match but Netherlands, despite Michael Rippon’s 42-run effort, lost the match by 7 runs. While the bowling was decent, middle-order batsmen failed  completely. Hong Kong, on the other hand, disappointed with their batting in the last match as they were bundled for a mere 87 which Oman chased with ease.
