Both Hyderabad and Jammu & Kashmir are tottering at the bottom of the points table in Group C of this Ranji Trophy and are just above Tripura. J&k are in a slightly better position having four points from four matches while Hyderabad have three points from four matches. Thus, J&K have one extra point. Though J&K lost two matches and Hyderabad one, still J&K have an extra point because they did not lose as humiliatingly as Hyderabad lost; and also both of their drawn matches were not totally one-sided compared to Hyderabad.
