The tournament will be played between 16 teams and a total of 48 matches will be played throughout the tournament. Both these Group B teams have already been knocked out of the tournament and will look for a consolation win as they take the flights back home. Both teams have lost to Pakistan and Sri Lanka respectively. Yet, Afghanistan will definitely be the stronger side in this contest given that they posed a far greater threat to the oppositions than Canada did. Skipper Abraash Khan has led his team from the front with some handy scores and will look to continue in similar vein in the final game of the tournament for his side. Canada have been short of good enough bowlers to defeat or trouble the other names.
Afghanistan will be led by Ihsanullah. He has not been particularly impressive in this tournament. Tariq and Karim Jamat have scored a few runs. Zia ur-Rahman has been their headlining bowler and even caused a few troubles for the established Pakistan side.
