Toss: Fiji Under-19 won the toss and elected to bat first
Talking of Fiji, they lost their first match played against England by a mammoth 299 runs. They lost their second game as well against Zimbabwe by seven wickets. Losing is not that big an issue but since Fiji is losing miserably without being able to give some resistance, it does raise questions whether they can enter the competitive cricketing arena maybe 10 years down the line. At present they should strive to give a decent performance in this match against the West Indies. It’s not a big deal if they lose but they should give some fight.
