Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2018‘s final. In the summit clash, we see West Indies take on Afghanistan  at Harare Sports Club in Harare. While both the sides have fulfilled their purpose of the tournament by proceeding to 2019 World Cup in England and Wales, they would want to finish it off in style on Sunday. Some of the other strong contenders Scotland, Ireland and hosts Zimbabwe — stumbled at the final hurdle to miss the World Cup ticket.

Afghanistan and West Indies came across each other in the inaugural Super Sixes’ clash. Afghanistan presented the best of themselves courtesy their spin trio— Mohammad Nabi, Mujeeb Zadran and Rashid Khan. They shared six wickets to restrict West Indies below 200. In reply, though Afghanistan struggled on the verge of victory but went past the finish line by 3 wickets and 14 balls to spare.
