(Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s coverage of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier 2015. It’s Day 7 of the qualifiers and five matches are scheduled to take place. Ireland take on Papua New Guinea at Stormont, USA takes on Jersey at Bready, Afghanistan takes on Oman at Heriot’s, while Nepal takes on Hong Kong at Stromont following Ireland-PNG match and Kenya take on UAE at Heriot’s. This is an interesting phase as most of the teams are facing a tough situation including a now or never scenario. UAE have been bowled out for 105 in 17.2 overs, with Mohammad Tauqir and Nasir Aziz the final men to be dismissed for 13 and six respectively, as Kenya win by a massive margin of 42 runs. Narendra Patel was the highest wicket-taker for Kenya with four for 16.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE Kenya: 147/5 | Overs 20: That’s it!!!! Kenya have finished their innings on 147 for the loss of five wickets and hyave set a target of 148 for UAE to win this encounter. Narendra Patel and Rakep Patel’s 42 and 50 respectively, helped Kenya achieve the target. Mohammad Naveed and Umair Ali claimed a couple of wickets each.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE Kenya: 93/3 | Overs 15: With just a wicket lost in the next five overs, Kenya seem to be in a good spot as of now, but need to steer their innings and post a challenging total from hereon. LIVE CRICKET SCORE Afghanistan: 104 | Overs 17.5: That’s it!!!! Oman has thrashed Afghanistan by 40 runs. They register a massive win for themselves and keep their hopes alive for qualifying for the T20 mega event next year. Zeeshan Maqsood and Mehran Khan’s four wucket haul did it for Oman.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE PNG: 125/8 | Overs 18.5: That’s it!!!! PNG win by two wickets as they successfully chase down the target of 125 with just seven balls to spare. Assad Vala’s knock of 32 helps PNG chase down the target easily, also followed by a healthy contribution from Norman Vanua of 28. Tyrone Kane clamied the most wicket for Ireland, with three scalps.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE Afghanistan: 91/6 | Overs 15: Afghanistan are on a strong position as well as they 54 runs away from the target with five overs to go and fpour wickets in hand. They need to steer their innings from hereon. However, any loss of wicket is going to bring Oman back to the game.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE PNG: 84/6 | Overs 15: PNG are just 40 runs behind the target and with four wickets in hand, it’s quite gettable. However, a couple of wickets here could bring Ireland back into the game. Four wickets in the last 10 overs are sure to have reduced the pace of run scoring for PNG, but not by much.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE USA: 88/5 | Overs 15.3: That’s it!!!! USA have won it easily by five wickets. The opening 60-run stand between Fahad Babar and Akeem Dodson did it for USA. Although they lost five wickets in a flurry, it was too late for Jersey to do the damage. Nat Watkins claimed three wickets for Jersey.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE Afghanistan: 31/0 | Overs 5: A slow and steady start by the Afghan batsmen as they chase a challenging total of 145 runs to win. No loss of wickets so far as Afghan seem to be in total control and this scenario could see them post a tough challenge to Oman.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE PNG: 41/2 | Overs 5: A steady but shaky start as well by the PNG batsmen as they have lost a couple of wickets in the opening five overs, fwhile they have also scored a healthy 41 runs as they chase a target of 124.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE USA: 57/0 | Overs 10: Good gameplay so far by the USA openers as they are batting brilliantly and are avoiding the,mselves to take any undue risk as they have more or less approached the reaquired slim target to win the game.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE USA: 29/0 | Overs 5: Slow start by USA and a fair one as they need a paltry 88 runs to win, which should be an easy cake walk for them, unless ansd until they mess things up for themselves.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE OMAN: 144/7 | Overs 20: Oman have finished on a challenging total of 144 for the loss of sevenm wickets. Good batting stuff right from the start. However, the loss of wickets in the later half of the game slowed their pace of scoring runs in a flurry. Jatinder Singh’s healthy knock of 40 helped Oman to reach the total, while Mohammad Nabi claimed three for 28.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE IRELAND: 123/9 | Overs 20: Ireland finish on 123 for the loss of nine wickets. A shaky start in the initial five overs, losing three early wickets. However, they held their nerves to bat out the 20 overs and despite losing wickets at regular intervals, they managed to keep scoring a put up an average total. William Porterfield’s impressive knock of 57 did it for the Irish Willie Gavera claimed three for 17.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE OMAN: 92/3 | Overs 15: Oman have been good since the start. However, they need to pick up the pace and score runs in a flurry as with just 15 overs to go and with seven wickets in hand, they need to finish on a high from here on. With 92 in 15 overs, a score of around 150 could be a good one.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE IRELAND: 86/6 | Overs 15: Couple of more wickets down for Ireland and they are six down in 15 overs with 86 on board. Gary Wilson and Stuart Thompson are dismissed for 10 and six, respectively.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE JERSEY: 87 | Overs 17.3: That’s it!!! Jersey have been bowled out for mere 87 in 17.3 overs. Anthony Kay and Charles Perchard were the highest scorers with 18 runs each, while Ben Stevens was the second highest scorer with 10 runs and the third man with double figures in the game. Naseer Jamali and Hammad Shahid spared three wickets each.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE JERSEY: 73/8 | Overs 15: A couple of more wickets and it has made matters worse for Jersey with just 73 runs on the board and with five more overs to go. It would be interesting to see how the tail-enders cope up in the pressure situation and how much more are they able to post. However, considering the situation from hereon, it seems to be an easy ride for USA.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE IRELAND: 45/4 | Overs 10: Ireland too are being shaky here, as following their loss of three wickets in the opening five overs, they have managed to restrict the fall of wicket, losing just a wicket in the next five, but are unable to score runs, which they need to score in big margin to have a possible chance of winning the game.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE OMAN: 52/2 | Overs 10: Slow and steady gameplay so far for Oman as they are just two wickets down in 10 overs, having lost just a wicket in the next five overs in the form of opener, Zeeshan Ahmad for 29 off Mohammad Nabi. Vaibhav Wategaonkar is ther new man in.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE JERSEY: 49/6 | Overs 10: Oh dear!!! This does not look good for Jersey. Six down in 10 overs for 49, with 10 more overs to go. Cornelis Bodenstein, Ben Stevens and Nat Watkins are the new men to be dismissed in the next five overs as Naseer Jamali and Hammad Shahid have spared three wickets each, so far.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE OMAN: 24/1 | Overs 5: A slow start by Oman against Afghanistan as they have lost just a wicket in the opening five overs in the form of Zeeshan Maqsood for an unfortunate duck off Aftab Alam, as Jatinder Singh is the new man in.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE JERSEY: 28/3 | Overs 5: Similar start for Jersey as well unlike Ireland as they too lose three early wickets. Edward Farley, Peter Gough and Jonty Jenner are on their way back for single figures.
LIVE CRICKET SCORE IRELAND: 26/3 | Overs 5: Poor start by Ireland. Defnitely what they would have wanted in the initial stage is losing three early wickets. Niall O’Brien, Paul Stirling and Kevin O’Brien have been dismissed for single figures. William Porterfield and Andrew Balbrine are on the crease to take control. PNG bowlers seem to be on a roll here.
