Welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog of the third day of the first unofficial Test between the ‘A’ teams of India and Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday. Australia A have the edge at the beginning of Day Three as they trail India by 116 runs with six wickets in hand. Peter Handscomb is unbeaten on 75 and Marcus Stoinis is the other unbeaten batsman on 42. The duo have already put on 110 for the fifth wicket after the visitors were reduced to 75 for four courtesy of a three-wicket haul by left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha. Australia A will be looking to consolidate from here and India A will look to bundle out Australia A quickly and establish a lead.
