Hello and Welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog session of the Super Six stage of the ongoing ICC Women World Cup Qualifier 2017 between India Women and Bangladesh Women at Nondescripts Cricket Club Ground in Colombo. We will be bringing to you the live updates from this match. India so far have been the best team in the tournament and have won all their 5 matches They are now set to lock horns against neighbours Bangladesh, who are coming off a win against Ireland in their previous Super Six encounter.

After a win against Sri Lanka in their first game, India played relatively easier sides and notched up wins against Ireland, Zimbabwe and Thailand but the sternest challenge they faced was from the South African Women who had topped Group B. South Africa fell short of the 206-run target by 49 runs. Once again, it was skipper Mithali Raj who starred for the side. Heading towards the Bangladesh clash, the India girls start outright favourites. While India are the No. 4-ranked side in women’s cricket, Bangladesh are down at the ninth spot.
