Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the second T20I of the Nidahas Trophy. India will take on Bangladesh in the second game of the tournament. I, Suvajit Mustafi, will provide you with live updates and interesting tweets from the social space for this contest.

India suffered a five-wicket defeat in the tournament opener against hosts Sri Lanka. India could not defend 175 and their inexperienced bowling attack received a severe pounding from Kusal Perera. India have sent in an inexperienced side for this tournament, which is led by the out-of-form Rohit Sharma. The onus lies of senior players like Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina to make count of their good form that they have been carrying since South Africa.

Bangladesh too are without their best player and regular skipper Shakib Al Hasan. They have never won a T20I against India, having lost all their previous five encounters. With the likes of Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav missing in the Indian ranks, this may be Bangladesh’s best chance to add to their bare column. All-in-all, the second match of the tournament promises to be another exciting affair.
