India were dismissed for 269 runs before lunch on day two of the second warm-up match against the Cricket Australia’s Chairman XI.

 

Earlier, resuming India’s innings at 162 for 4, Virat was involved in a valiant 101-run partnership with Rohit Sharma who made 47 runs.

 

But Rohit was eventually dismissed for 47 but Kohli, kept his cool to score his hundred in the first session of day two of the practice match off 139 balls.

 

India were eventually dismissed for 269 runs. Chairman’s XI are trailing India by 263 runs and have lost the wicket of David Warner in first over of their innings.

 

Brief Score: India 269 (Virat Kohli 132, Rohit Sharma 47, Gautam Gambhir 24; Jon Holland 6 for 70, Peter George 2 for 62) lead Cricket Australia Chariman’s XI 6 for 1 (Ed Cowan 3*, Usman Khawaja 0*, David Warner 2; Abhimanyu Mithun 1 for 3) by 263 runs.
