Hello and Welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog session of the final of the ongoing T20 Blind World Cup 2017 between arch-rivals India and Pakistan, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday. India have had fine and consistent performance in the tournament so far, winning every matches, except for one loss, which came against this very team in the group stage. Although India might want to avenge the revenge of the loss suffered in the group stage, denying the Indians a clean record in the tournament, Pakistan too are a force to reckon with as they are unbeaten in the tournament. India, who won eight out of nine games in the tournament, booked their place in the summit showdown after crushing Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in their semi-final clash on Friday. Pakistan, on the other hand, continued their unbeaten streak in the tournament, after they clinched their ninth consecutive win by beating England by 147 runs at the Karnataka State Cricket Association Ground on Saturday. Incidentally, Pakistan are the only team who have beaten India in the tournament when they clinched a seven-wicket win against the hosts in the third match in New Delhi, reported ANI.

Bengaluru played host to the inaugural Blind T20 World Cup in 2012, and five years later, the tournament returned to India and is being held across the country. The Blind T20 World Cup 2017 began on January 30. India were the winners of the inaugural season. A total of 48 matches have been played throughout the tournament.
