Hashim Amla completed his 24th One-Day International half-century and also 4,000 runs in this format in his 84th match as South Africa reached in 147 for no loss in 26 overs.

India’s trouble continued as the openers yet again gave the team a start which eluded them for a long time now. De Kock continued his aggression while Amla to scored at a steady pace. The batsmen are looking in great touch as none of the bowlers have managed to trouble them so far. The worries of overcast conditions and a fresh Indian pace attack had no effect.

Dhoni is consistently heard on the stump microphone asking his bowlers to pitch it right. He also persisted with Suresh Raina and Virat Kohli before finally bringing Ravindra Jadeja in.
