Jacques Kallis is closing in on his 45th Test ton in his final Test for South Africa. Only three South Africans have achieved the feat of scoring a ton in their last Test. South Africa are trailing by 35 runs and will resume Day Four on 299 for five in reply to India’s 334 at Durban on Sunday.

India had managed to pick early wickets on Day Three until AB de Villiers and Kallis shared a crucial fourth-wicket partnership to rescue the Proteas. Bad Light and rain stopped play early as India managed to pick the wicket of JP Duminy just before players were called back.

It will be an interesting day as it will decide where the match is heading for. South Africa will aim for a lead in excess of 200 while Indians will be eager to bundle out the last five wickets early.
