Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of India  in South Africa series. This is Day Four of the third and final Test at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. I am Aditya Sahay and I will be presenting to you all the happenings from the match along with the live scores and updates from the day’s play. India are in a good position as they have set a competitive target.

India managed to score 247 in their second innings setting a target of 241 for the host. The cracks on the pitch were widened by the start of the day which produced uneven bounce and proved to be dangerous for the batsmen. Murali Vijay and Virat Kohli were seen taking many blows while batting. Ajinkya Rahane was looking positive as he scored 48 off 68 balls to help India take lead.

India managed to take the wicket of Aiden Markram early. However, the day was folded early due to the uneven bounce of the surface. Dean Elgar was hit on the helmet by a bouncer bowled by Jasprit Bumrah. The match referee had called both the captains to discuss on the case. Later, ICC confirmed that the play would continue on Day Four.
