Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog of match No. 18, between India and South Africa, of ICC Women’s World Cup 2017. So far they have managed to maintain a clean slate, beating England, Pakistan, West Indies, and Sri Lanka. However, of all the teams, South Africa have the fiercest bowling attack. That said, India boast of a class-apart, top-order batters in Smriti Mandhana, Punam Raut, and Mithali Raj.

After posting consecutive 100-plus stands, Mandhana and Raut have not been in their elements. Mandhana, especially, could not see off the new ball in the last match. Raut, on the other hand, has been instrumental when it comes to resurrecting a falling innings. Mithali, however, continued being Mithali, notching up scores of 71, 46, 8, 53.

All the same, the Indian spinners rule the bowling chart. Ekta Bisht and Deepti Sharma have taken 7 wickets each.
