Good afternoon! Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of India vs Sri Lanka 2017-18. This is the final match of the tour, the third T20I, and here you will get all the live scores and updates of the battle taking place at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. India have already pocketed the series and are en route to pull off a whitewash under the stand-in captain Rohit Sharma, while Sri Lanka will be playing for pride.
Rohit performed brilliantly in both ODIs and T20Is as India thoroughly dominated. Apart from Rohit, KL Rahul, Manish Pandey and MS Dhoni have been India’s key players with the bat. The spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav continued to impress while Hardik Pandya and Jaydev Unadkat took care of pace attack. Surprisingly, Jasprit Bumrah went wicketless in both matches.
Sri Lanka’s bowling performance has been disappointing in the T20Is, and with Angelo Mathews picking up hamstring injury, they suffer another big blow. Upul Tharanga and Kusal Perera put up some impressive batting performance in the previous match and would want their team to join them as they play their last match of the series.
