Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live updates of the fifth and final ODI between India and West Indies. I, Suvajit Mustafi, will be bringing you the live score updates and interesting posts from the social media space. The match will be played at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica. India currently lead the 5-match series 2-1, with one game being washed out due to rain. If they win here, they will take the series. West Indies, on the other hand, have an outside chance of levelling the series after winning the fourth ODI by 11 runs at Antigua. Live cricket scorecard: West Indies vs India, 5th ODI

India, after the loss, will be eager to hit the final nail in the coffin against West Indies and snatch the series 3-1. India’s batting was at fault against West Indies in the fourth ODI, chasing only 189 to win. It was Ajinkya Rahane and MS Dhoni who provided resistance against a raging Jason Holder, who ended with a 5-for. India in all likelihood would bring in Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin. Yuvraj Singh’s fitness still remains to be an issue. Rishabh Pant could finally make his presence felt in the series.

West Indies, on the other hand, will look to keep their winning momentum going and not make any changes unless it is a necessity. West Indies will bank on likes of Shai Hope, Evin Lewis and Kyle Hope to come for once again with the bat. Jason Mohammed did look good in the last match and will be hopeful of repeating his show.

Holder along with Alzarri Joseph would look to stifle the Indian batting line-up. Mild rain and thunderstorms are being forecasted for the day.
