Chris Gayle, Carlos Brathwaite, Marlon Samuels, Samuel Badree and Sunil Narine return in West Indies maroons. It is T20 time. Brace yourselves for fun. Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog and fun updates from the Twitter space for the one-off T20I between India and West Indies at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica. I am Suvajit Mustafi and I will be your host for the same. After a 3-1 whipping meted out to the Caribbean side, India will look forward to take home the T20I trophy as well. But this is a format West Indies cherish playing and have an upper hand against the visitors. FULL SCORECARD: India vs West Indies, T20I

Head-to-head West Indies have a 4-2 advantage. The last 2 T20I contests between the sides that yielded in a result went in West Indies’ favour. The 245 vs 244 Florida thriller and preceding that was the World T20 semi-final. The return of the luminaries will make West Indies more competitive side from the one we witnessed in the ODIs.

Both sides ended up with wins in their previous T20I assignments. While India downed England 2-1 earlier this year, West Indies clean-swept the promising Afghans 3-0 last month. India’s balance and the right mix in the bowling attack makes them favourites but not to forget in Narine and Badree, West Indies have 2 of the best bowlers of shorter formats. Add the experience of Jerome Taylor and promise of Kesrick Williams.

While fans will be left guessing till the end if Virat Kohli from India and Narine from West Indies will open the batting, there are high chances of Rishabh Pant making his second appearance for Team India today.
