After a long season of limited-overs cricket, India is all set to enter the Test cricket season. The Indian team, led by Virat Kohli, will be confident looking at the team’s current form. However, records show that Indians have not been very comfortable to play Tests on the Caribbean soil. So far, India have won five Test matches in West Indies and have drawn the last three Tests played there. The series comes as a chance to Kohli, who has been quite successful with his stint as Test captain, to add another feather to his hat with another victorious series.
West Indies, on the other hand, have the home side advantage. The team last played Australia in Tests. Though the series has not been much fruitful for the side, it certainly has some positives to take from. West Indies will be mentally charged up post their victorious journey in limited-overs lately.
