Good Afternoon/Morning! Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket blog of the 1st T20I between India women and Australia women. The Australia, England and India T20I tri series is scheduled to be played at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. India women will look to bounce back strongly after being whitewashed by Australia women in the ODI series in their own back yard. Whereas, Australia women will look to continue their momentum in the T20I tri-series as well. The Indian team would be led by Harmanpreet Kaur.
Whereas, the Australian team would be captained by Meg Lanning. Harmanpreet earlier said India as a T20 unit is a work-in-progress. Rajeshwari Gayakwad has been included in the T20 India women squad in place of Ekta Bisht for the upcoming triangular tournament. Ekta injured her left index finger during the final ODI against Australia and has been advised to rest for 10 days.
